How RAADS-R scoring works
Eighty responses become a total score from 0 to 240 and four domain scores. The numbers can organize reflection, but they cannot confirm or exclude an autism diagnosis.

The cutoff: what 65 means
In the 2011 validation sample, 65 was selected as the research threshold. Later studies in adult referral settings found much weaker standalone predictive performance. A one-point difference around the cutoff should never be treated as a change in identity or a medical verdict.
